Contest Won!!!!!

After ten years of writing, my brother's painting that took him a matter of months wins a fantasy book cover contest. Thanks, Mike for you help, but I want some of your talent! Link up, and hit the buttons to help my books and get entered into a magic contest of awesomeness!

  1. I came across your works/blog thanks to a good friend of mine who found out about your literary work series titled the Immortal Veil. Ironically, it shares the same title of the book series I am endeavoring to complete. I will be immediately be changing my title, both out of professional courtesy, and also a desire to avoid any potential copyright infringements.

I read an excerpt of your book on Amazon, and so far, I really am hooked! I look forward to picking up a copy. It is interesting, that our plot lines take different routes, but share that common title.

I highly respect your work and would truly be honored if you had time to peruse a short excerpt of my story. It is available at I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice that you are willing to share.

Thanks for your time, I look forward to hearing your perspective.

  2. Hi Nathan! Just saw this comment. Site did not notify me there was one. I appreciate your allowing me to have sole possession of the title, but ironically, you probably had it first. I did not choose this title for the series until right before publishing last year when I had to split my work into two books. Thanks again though, and I am glad you liked the excerpt. Finishing up book III as we speak. You don't have any books called The Princes of Shadow and Sand, do you? :)

  3. Nope. I think you are safe on that title! Although my boys could fit that description....

I imagine you are pretty busy getting things geared for book III. If you have a few minutes to spare, I would appreciate your opinion (and any suggestions) on the newly titled Tanek Chronicles.

If you have an opportunity, the first two chapters are posted here:

Congrats on book III! I look forward to seeing it on the market!
